Alabama State’s Kyle Demester Selected for NCAA Student-Athlete Conference

Kyle Demester’s golf game has never been better. Only last month he finished fourth in the SWAC championship golf tournament. Off the course, he is even more impressive.

Demester continues to carry a perfect 4.0 average in the Alabama State University College of Business. And, now his achievements have garnered national attention.

The NCAA Student-Athlete Development Conference selection committee has selected Demester to participate in its annual conference.

“Kyle is more than just a great golfer,” said Gary Grandison, ASU’s head golf coach. “He is a tremendous student and excellent representative of ASU.”

The 2008 NCAA Student-Athlete Development Conference will be held May 25-29 in Orlando, Florida. The event focuses on leadership, decision-making and problem-solving skills. The sessions also promote better communication among student-athletes, coaches, administrators, faculty and communities.
