Grambling-Texas Southern Football Match-Up Moved Back To Houston

The location for next month’s football game featuring Grambling State and Texas Southern has been changed. The contest, originally scheduled to be played in San Antonio, Texas, has been moved back to Houston, Texas and will take place at Delmar Stadium on Thursday, Nov. 20 at 8:05 p.m.

Delmar Stadium, located at 2020 Mangum Road (Loop 610 @ Hwy 290), seats 12,000 spectators and features a Field Turf playing surface. The stadium is owned and operated by Houston Independent School District (HISD).

Next month’s contest will mark the first-ever Thursday night contest for Grambling State as the Tigers will battle Texas Southern in a nationally televised contest slated to appear on ESPNU. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at either school’s ticket office.
