It truly is one of the only opportunities for us West Coast folks to engage in some true southern sportsmanship and band music at its finest. I alos coach a hih school drill team and have been made this one of our annual team outtings - their hearts literally sank when I told them we weren't going this year. It has been this even alone which sparked a desire for some of my juniors and seniors to apply to some historically black colleges... and when they see how ya'll do it, it truly makes my job easier! I sincerely hope you all come back in 2011!! I was so disappointed to find the game had been canceled. I looked forward to bringing my family back. There is nothing else like the angel classic in the city of Angels.
