It was reported yesterday that Johnnie Cole had resigned as head football coach at Texas Southern. In an update to that post, it was also reported that a 2pm press conference announcing Cole’s resignation was scheduled for today.
New details have since emerged.
According to TSU sources there will be no press conference, but an official press release expected to come out today around 2pm will announce that Johnnie Cole has been fired.
