The first SWAC football contest live on ESPNU is set to kick off on Thursday as Mississippi Valley visits Southern University in Baton Rouge, La.
It’s High School night at A.W. Mumford Stadium and this is the home opener for the Jaguars who are coming off of a bye week. Meanwhile, MVSU is seeking their first win after losses to Concordia (Ala.) and Alabama State. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 central time.
