...of listening to and/or reading about women who are waiting on God to send them a man. How the hell would you know if God sent him or not??? Is he the gorgeous hunk who can't keep his "jimmie" in his pants??? Is he the honest and caring UGLY guy that would love you like no other but absolutely disgusts you because of his lack of handsomeness??? Is he the fat guy who has those same qualities, but is too damn big for your liking???
Ladies, if there are any of you TSPN ladies waiting on God to send you a man, please enlighten me. I'm sure this has been disgussed, but hearing it and reading about it is getting on my damn nerves!!!! For all you know, he could be that guy that you done slammed into the "friend zone", but this guy just doesn't do it for you.
Then again, God could just be letting you handle yo biz yo own self.
*<font size=1>As if God ain't got nothing better to do than find you a man</font>*

Personally, I?m not waiting for God to send me a man.
If I run across one....then fine, if I don?t then that?s fine too.
I?m not waiting on God because more then likely She?ll (that?s right She) send me what I need, not what I want.

Robber, my blue blood brother...*smh* I luv you in Jesus Name...so I'm praying with every ounce of my body for me to be patient with you. :D First of all:
Proverbs 18:22 Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD.
If you notice...whoso findeth a wife...meaning the husband finds the wife...not the wife finding the husband. You didn't just happened to find a job/career Robber...God give that career to you. That wife you have Robber...God gave you that wife. He was the one to direct your paths to her!!! What we have...we didn't get it on our own. If you're sick and tire of hearing women saying that...then pray to God about it because that is what he would have us to do...wait on HIM!!!
Yes, I'm waiting on God to send me my husband! Why? Because if it were up to be I would go out and marry the wrong man. I would look for the guy with the biggest d...spoon without concerns of his feelings for me. I'm just being honest. Just because I'm waiting on God, does that mean I'm just sitting and wasting my time away? LLLLL Nawwwllll!!! I'm having the time of my single life...until God is ready...then I'll have the time of my married life. :D Robber every women that says that statement doesn't always know exactly what she is saying. Some do not have a clue. They think that just because it sounds good and it's from God...he will be someone that they want and not need!!! God will give you what you need. Don't get me wrong, he also will give us the desire of our hearts, but the desires of our hearts are not always what's good for us. I hope I began a spark for you...but how do I know this will be an ongoing discussion.:D

Uh, I don't have any scriptures I can quote, but most womenI know personally (had to add that before I have to go wicked) who claim they are waiting for God to drop a man in their laps are still looking.
It wasn't until I ended my Triple F period, told God, "Okay, I guess I'm ready now," and STOPPED TALKING ABOUT HOW I WASN'T LOOKING FOR A MAN that my soulmate came into my life. Tell those women to sit down, shut up, and wait. When God is ready, she'll know. And she won't even have to ask if he is the one.

When we are honest with ourselves, we'll understand that by announcing "I'm not looking...means I am lying to myself about not looking....I might not look but I hope he hurries and finds me!" Serious.
V, you aint got to quote a scripCHA every time you talk. Just use the good sense God gave you. God won't steer you wrong. :D
And about that Triple F period.... you're right!

No, MsJ4J, one doesn't need the scripture everytime they open their mouth...but on here someone always questions Blu...where is it written? Can you prove it? So I introduce the scripture even before they ask because most of my good sense is based on His Words.
Yes and you're right some of these women that keep announcing it are actually trying to convince theirself. I only inform a person when my singleness is being questioned. I can't stand for a man to ask "Why aren't you married yet?" Yes, I know what he means...but how do you answer that? My best way is telling him the truth.

Blu,
That was nothing against what you do. I was telling that to Nita because of her statement regarding she didn't have a scripture. And nothing is wrong with quoting scriptures if that is your choice. Seriously.
With women fooling themselves, I speak that based on personal experience. That's a fact. Just ask God.
When asked why aren't you married yet, can that be a compliment of sorts? Meaning... the guy may think you are such a wonderful person he may be in disbelief that some other fellow had not scooped you up. Feel me?
At the same time, when I was single and not happy about it, I'd get mad at folks for asking me ...."well have you met him yet? ... You haven't met any men out there? etc..." It was annoying to say the least. It got to the point that I'd tell them I'm not married yet because I don't want to be ... (another lie)... I'd tell them anything possible to make them stop reminding me that I was single.
I got tired of preacher's trying to convince SOME women that they ARE happy single! LOL That was the biggest joke since I heard Fat Albert was skinny! .... anyway.....

Personally, that is what I tell folks when they ask why I'm single too because God's sign is a better sign than anyone else's feeling or conscious. I trust God's opinion before anyone's. And if you listen to your heart, God will give you His blessing when this is the person for you...;)

It's easy to say "I AIN'T LOOKIN' FOR A MAN" or "I DON'T NEED A MAN"...
Yeah...especially when yo azz don't have one! :p ;)

There was this man and it was raining I mean flooding so the water started to come in his yard and this truck came by " Hey man, they are evacuating come and go." "Naw, Naw" the man said " God is going to save me". So they left. Then the water started to come in his house and some firemen on a boat came by. " Hey sir, the water is getting pretty high, why dont you evacuate?" "No, No, god is going to save me." So they left. It kept raining and the water kept rising. The man got up on his roof and a helicopter came by. " Hey sir we are going to drop a latter down and you can climb up." The man yelled, " No, no god is going to save me."......So the man is at the pearly gates and he asked Saint Peter. " Why didn't you save me? I had all the faith that god was going to save me." and St. Peter responded. "I sent you a truck a boat and a helicopter."......:D

MsJ4J...what other reason could there be??? I'm already aware of that. :D :p :D It has always been an annoying questioning to me. When I meet single guys that appear to be out of this world, yes that is something that cross my mind, but I would never ask such...*shrug* to each his own.

<i>
There does come a time when some of us are simply content with ourselves and are happy in our singleness. Forunately, the time between when I ACTUALLY stopped looking and was actually found.... was a short period. </i>
Blu,

I see that jelli is feeling me. This is exactly what I'm talking about. I just wasn't diverse enough to have heard the story. Damn good analogy.
Blublood,
'Preciate your first response. I understood all that, but was just wondering if he had already been sent and was being rejected. It ain't like he's gonna have a big sign on his forehead in flashing neon lights "God sent me to you!!!"
Carry on.

Robber, I can answer that easily...NO. I guarantee 100% that I didn't overlook him. Of course he will not have a sign on the head...forehead I mean... :D (See I like jokes also...Saniyya) God gives His children spirit of discernment. I don't enter any relationship or friendship without consulting with God first.

Exacly...there is nothing wrong with that.
But when they aren't content but put on airs as if they ARE....what? :xeye:
Don't get me wrong...I perfectly understand not wanting everybody in your business,...but when someone goes out of their way to put up a front....why?
Ntelektual Note:
It's one thing to be hungry and not want anyone to know about it, but when you DO crave nourishment, but make it a point to exclaim <font color=maroon>'I DON'T WANT FOOD....I DON'T NEED ANY FOOD!'</font> so that others can be "fooled"...what have you actually accomplished, besides making yourself look foolish?

Blublood,
I am genuinely curious. You say you don't enter into relationships without talking to God first. I didn't talk to Him about such matters. My question is, how does He let you know that guys you meet are(n't) sent by Him???
Serious question.
