...the latest Nike commercial, "Tag, Play". I love this commercial. It really cracks me up. This white guy walks out of his apartment building in a city. As soon as he hits the street, someone touches him on his shoulder. He gives an exasperated "he got me" sigh and starts looking around. Everybody in the city takes off running and starts chasing. Folk are jumping in cars and locking the doors. Cops are running from him while he's trying to get at them. Then the streets look empty and he's trying to figure out where everybody went. Them fools were lined up single file behing garbage cans and light posts trying to hide from him.
He finally sees them and they all break for the subway. He gets to the subway car just in time to stick his arm in the door, but it's closing and won't reopen like an elevator. He's trying to touch anyone and they are all leaning back as as far as they can. Then this one black guy doesn't make the train a few cars down. Everybody insided the car is yelling through the window and pointing to the white guy chasing them. The brotha is slow to catch on. The white guy sees him, puts his hands in his pockets and starts to whistle as he eases towards the brotha. Folk on the subway train is still pointing towards the white guy. Brotha finally catches on and takes off in the opposite direction and the white guy gives chase.
Absolute classic, I tell ya. I love me some commercials.
