Well everyone that knows me knows that I'm an avid movie watcher, goer, seer, all dat jazz. I loves me some movies, usually go about 4 times a month.

Anyway,

I saw The Fast and the Furious on last night and it was alright. I enjoyed the heck out of it. This movie is full of action, all the way through. I thought it would just be about white boys car racing and that was most of it, but it actually had a plot.....an interesting one, I might add. I won't spoil it for anyone that hasn't seen it by giving away the story line, but if you're looking for an interesting movie to watch, you may wanna check it out.

Ladies,

That's a fine @ss white boy in that movie too. I guess he's white, he looks, talks, and acts like he may have some black in him tho.:o:

I saw it last week, and I really liked. I especially enjoyed the fact that the story line was nothing like I thought it was going to be.

But watch, though...

Now you're gonna see more brothas ridin' around in their souped up street racers! :D

It was a good movie, though...:)

Ja Rule was put in there to basically increase the urban following (it probably worked).

He didn't have much of a part, but he did do a pretty decent job at what he had...

On what authority do you have that Vin Diesel is black??? When he debuted in "Pitch Black" I wondered what the hell he was.

On the authority that his Momma is black, and he say that he is black...

By the way, his first movie was Boilerroom. Hella tight movie.

Won't win any awards, but there was alot of action.

I like the street racers in the movie. I don't care much for the foreign cars though. I still prefer that V-8 power, over a souped up 4 cylinder.

I used to street race and I still have a Mustang 5.0, but I don't drive it every day. I'm keeping it for my son. I'm not going to give it to him until he atleast 20 or 21, though, b/c I've put alot of performance parts into it (flowmasters mufflers, k&n air filers w/ cold air induction, Banzani X pipes, power thrower shifter, sitting on some 245-45-17 Cobras). Next up is a Super Charger or performance intake.

The Asians here in Houston have the foreign car racing looked up.
Their are some nice ones out there and you can see them on Westheimer on Friday and Saturday nights.

Tru,

So you're one of those nuts that barrels down Westheimer like you've lost your mind  ???

Or should I say, 'used to' ?? :D

Jafus and I were 'playing' with one of those folks last weekend. And I was rolling one of those 2000 Impalas. I kept up for a little while even after we were zigging and zagging through traffic. But I'm not trying to catch a case though....:)

Actually I never really raced my 5.0 much. I bought it in 95, when my son was born. It was the last year Ford put the 5.0 liter in their Mustangs.

When I raced mostly was back in College. I used to have a 1970 pontiac GTO. It had a 400 Big Block, with a 400 Turbo Transmission. The only thing I added to it was a Hurst shift kit, and headers.

Bruh that GTO was a monster. Even when the car would shift to second gear, the tires would holla and the back shimmey. I sold it to my Brother in New Orleans. He still has it to this day.

Trust me Phat, ain't nothing like the power of a V-8 engine. My Expedition has the big 5.4 Liter V-8, but the truck it too heavy to feel the real power.:redhot:

Tru,

I don't know too much about racing, but I am familiar with the names of the parts and the companies that manufacture them. I understand a little 'Mr. Goodwrench-ese' :)

Now if you can hum a verse to 'Don't you Know No-Good' like Elroy Preston, then you're in there..........

Don't you know no good

[chorus] No...no good

Don't you know no good
No...No good
Don't you know no go-oo-oo-oo-oo...........

Well no dayum wonder the boy's soooooo fine.

I read about him over the w/e and it stated that his stepfather was black, which is who raised him along with his mother. The article did not mention whether his mother was black or not. He does proclaim his blackness tho wherever it comes from.....LOL
