Academics Sting Hornets

[MACHIAVELLI]

As many as 18 Alabama State football players may be academically ineligible this season. Included in that number is standout quarterback Darnell Kennedy, leading receiver Kenard Williams, third leading receiver Charlie Rollins and starting offensive lineman Terrance Brumfield.

Those players have been held out of practice until their academic status is resolved.

Now I fault the coach for not keeping tabs on these guys. Starters at that! All conference folks!

It is not totally his fault, though. These idiots have not realized in their Senior or upperclassmen years that football may or may not happen for them in the NFL. You need something else to keep you off the street corner hollerin' "I usta, I coulda, I shoulda"! Priorities, son! Lack of priorities!!!
